Dominated by the spectacular Mt Agung volcano, and fringed with black-sand beaches, Eastern Bali is a must-see for those who want to escape the busyness of the southern and central regions of the Island.

Life moves much more slowly here. The mass tourism of the south gives way to a more traditional village way of life, giving you the chance to experience the ‘real’ Bali! 

From eating at a local beachfront warung to exploring the coastline in a traditional outrigger canoe, it’s easy to see why this is one of our favorite parts of Bali.
